I have a 5100max. I downloaded the MN747-806 upgrade to 4310 Max for 21xx Max and 5100 Max. I followed your procedure, and it didn’t work. Do I need to copy all the folders (BT, ManualReader, manuals, autorunce …)? I copied the NAVIGON folder, adding my map and poi folders from my 5100max folder. I would appreciate it if you could tell me which files I need along with the NAVIGON folder?

I am unable to connect to my q4-05 with eastsync on xp or WMDC on win 7. Is there some sort of lock that prevents tampering. It’s quite madding. I have been at this for a couple days on and off to no avail. My device was manufatured SEP 2009 and has CE 6.0 if that is any help. great tutorial by the way!

Hi Uffeb,

I refer to your steps 4 and 5 but the link to download both file seems to expired or invalid. Could you guide me to alternate weblink to obtain the files? I’ve been using VDO Dayton MS 2000 for 3 years but just recently received a msg saying “an attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end” Any idea what does that mean?
